6 lessons I learned in my 2nd year as an award-winning author, multimedia studio owner, and community art and writing educator.
Poet Rumi wrote: "Cease looking for flowers! There blooms a garden in your own home. While you look for trinkets The treasure house awaits you in your own being."
These are the 6 lessons I learned in my 2nd year as an award-winning author, multimedia studio owner, and community educator.
💎 Opportunity = preparedness. Reap your harvest from the seeds you planted, not by replanting others' plants.
💧 Water your life with gratitude, compassion, and consistency
🌍 Connections are fertilizer
🌾 Doubts and Fears are weeds; signs you are going in the right direction
🌿Doubts and Fears are ivy, suffocating all momentum
⛔ Be careful of who you allow into your garden (life); some people will plant poisonous seeds that look like flowers and kill your momentum and dreams.
