Song of Wata: Gamification

 

Hello All,

Writing Song Of Wata Book 1 is progressing. I really have had to push through the imposter syndrome and the doubts.

In order to do that I need to keep writing and so I found this website: Picker Wheel

I add all 40 scenes into the selections and spin the wheel. I pick a scene. Hide the choice. Open Hemmingway Editor and start a 1 hour sprint.

I have been making good progress so far:

Scene 21 WC: 1,603

Scene 06 1,520

Scene 10 WC: 1,096

I have three more scenes to write today. I like writing out of order because I can explore the character's arc of change and interiority. It's fun to see how they shift and change.

Book 1 is coming along in this draft form. I am proud of myself for getting over my fears and doubts of writing and just doing it anyway.

This is a painting I finished last week. I love using this magnifying light glass to do the details. Less strain on my eyes.

At the Author Signing I won't have any book ready but prints with short scene explanations.
